I decided I'd better have some more smaller, cheaper type work for MFF, and as their theme is furries on the high seas, I decided to draw some pirates. And a more motley crew you could never hope to meet.

I had a looot of fun with these. It's a media combination I think I'll pursue further.

This was made with hand-dyed paper (tea and rust), with microns, watercolor, and color pencil. I can't say how long they took me. Maybe around three hours each.

Hand-dyed paper, huh? That's rather interesting and it certainly has the desired effect on the piece.

I like how they all have different kinds of hats...makes me laugh. :)

Oh man, I especially love the shark. And you handdyed that paper? Oh man, so very awesome. I'd like to pet them, except from the look in their eyes I bet they'd kidnap me, rob me, and rape me. ^^; Soooo I'll keep to myself over HERE.
