i did the same thing with a lion except i gave it a mane made out of feathers. this might inspire me to work on that again, maybe change something. THIS RIGHT HERE THOUGH...............give yourself some credit. this turned out very well, it's not like it was a finger painting of a turkey using one of your hands as an outline.
More serious painting in the future? I can't wait to see then, it must even more awesome than when you're having fun. I love your coloring sincerely, what are you using to paint? And the pose is really nice as well!
I have acrylic but I don't think it's golden fluid acylic xD; I never used my acrylic or just once and I failed hardly with it it's also very hard to use no? And sincerely you're doing a good job when it's already for the fun so don't stress too much or something okay, we appreciate your work the way it is or we wouldn't be watching you. Also, the more you work the more you improve! That's a positive point! And you could start by small projects too to help you get in the process (sorry for my awful English ) like small serious portrait at first then a BIG project at the end of the month!
Nah just saying you should try to reach a goal, step by step ~
Before I got myself a wet palette, I absolutely hated acrylic. I hated the way it behaved and dried and everything about it. Wet palettes are magic. You don't have to buy one; you can make it yourself. There are instructions out there on the web.
I've been doing too many small projects right now But I'm kind of pressed for time, so I can't do anything big. After my con is over and I've moved, then I can work on bigger paintings.
