The black and white beginnings to Burn for You by hibbary

It's nice in its own right and a lot of the detail and form gets lost under the glowing spots. So I wanted to upload this, too. I think it took between 30-45 minutes. I never can tell because I'm spastically clicking around the internet off and on while working. Which is bad for my brain and I need to stop. :V

You know, the pale values of this actually remind me of white ashes left when wood fires have burned to nothing. Very neat, I love seeing paintings in different stages.

There are so many times where the gray scale seems to hold so much more detail that gets lost when the color is added. I live the facial expression, kind of a smirk x]
