I wanted to draw a blue cat. Slowly my blue cat turned green. That was ok. Green cats need love, too.
I'm continuing my experimentation in color. Green/red isn't a color I use a lot. There's a lot more going on here than that, really. It's a transition from red/purple blue for the shadows, to blue/bluegreen for the mid tones to green/yellow for the highlights. Which was interesting. I've never done it before.
I would work on it more, if I could, but I have so much to get done for MFF I will just have to move on. If it comes home with me, though, I'll continue to fiddle.
Thanks everyone for your comments and favs and even just for looking :3 I've been so frazzled lately, I haven't even found the time to read everything. So I'm going to have to have a three day DA dive when I get back
This picture moves me in so many ways! It reminds me of a kitty I once had who is dearly departed, nad alos one I have now. The first one was a maine coon and the current one is a manx. Both of them are/were half tabby, and this amazingly beautiful picture somehow captures the way both of them have made me feel. Also, green is my favorite color. I feel so moved and happy when I see this!
