Likely the last RM furry piece I shall have by the end of the weekend (I am working on a painting now) and then it's back to commissions over the week.

A few people have wondered as to the species of my furs. Well, the bat was a long eared bat, but this fellow and the first are more like some mythical canid. The first was something like a mix between a wolf and a jackal. This fellow is some sort of fox, I think.

I had a lot of fun on this one. I stopped worrying about being so realistic and began to explore the symplification and stylization of the shading. I am pleased with the results. :3

It's a beautifully detailed piece, but somehow I can't help but think of it as simplistic. =/ The atmosphere is wonderful; peaceful, and somehow surreal. Very inspiring.

And I know you weren't focusing on the species or anything, but I can't help but see it's similarities with a Fennec Fox. Just felt like adding that. ;3
