BFA show artist statementMetal is an incredible medium, prized by human beings for thousands of years for its beauty, versatility, and durability. And it is that durability which allows those metal pieces of thousands of years to remain as a vestige of its cultural origin. I am drawn by the allure of those antiquated objects. I like to imagine my work to be the artistic leavings of a fictional civilization, long since deceased, reclaimed from below the earth or the sea. I had promised to upload some work and I'm taking a break from commission to do just that.

I've got all these awful markers (I'm terrible with markers) that I finally decided I had to employ or otherwise admit that I spent over a hundred dollars on markers that I never use. Here is one of the results.

You seem pretty damn good with markers if you ask me. This design is FAN-TAS-TIC. I vote for more fish to dragon conversions, particularly the angler fish. It already has pretty dragonish teeth. The white highlighted areas isn't marker is it?
