I need to make some artwork for the AC art show and this is the first thing I came up with. Something a little lazy to start me off. Also I've never drawn a coyote before.
I feel like I need to do something with the background. Nothing fancy or extreme, but something. Maybe some soft and middle tone.
What else.. I'm already seeing some things that I want to fix. It seems like scanning always makes certain trouble areas pop out more. Unfortunately this is drawn with ballpoint, so I can't really do a lot of subtractive work. Too dark areas can be lightened slightly with eraser and lightened in seeming by making other areas darker, but that's it.
I'm thinking I should go in and darken the nose more?
Ah I see. I have two and they're quite fun to play, although I have English pendants. If you have a chance to play one, I'd take it. They're quite fun.
I also watch someone on youtube who is an amazing Ocarina player if you would like to watch him. [link]
Kinda creepy. I have a coyote tail that I wear to the Renaissance festival every year and I went there today (wearing the tail) and bought an ocarina and played it. This picture reminds me of me... o.o
i think that the nose isn't too bright, but maybe you should have made it a little narrower to make it look more recognizable as a coyote because i at first thought that it was a wolf with REALLY big ears, but again you amaze me with your skills!
