As you all my or may not know, I do the artwork for several shops on Gaia, one of those being griffins. I created this very special family of griffins for said shop, Gryps Nemorensis, which can be found [link] These are all siblings, belonging to a family of palace griffins. They are, from left to right:

Zarin, a golden tabby tiger griffin. He's the youngest of the group, and, much to the dismay of his father and brothers, is not in the least bit interested in his family's history of warfare and battle. He'd rather lounge around the palace and play with his mother or sister, or with the youngest prince who's made him his pet.


Neera, a white tiger griffin. This one belongs to the shop caretaker, BlackPidgeot. She, like her mother, is a palace pet. She's always pristine, and leads a very sheltered, pampered life.

Taj Nilah. This guy is mine, and started out the whole thing. He'd love to be the warrior and hero that his father is, and his older brother aspires to be, but just doesn't have the courage for it, when it comes down to it. He's pretty much an arrogant bastard, who's always ego tripping, if he isn't making snyde remarks about others. Regardless, he's got a nice guy buried somewhere in his many wrappings of self-conceit, and do just about anything to protect his family, or anybody who managed to look past all his shortcomings and become his friend.

Abnusi, the eldest, is the fighter of the four, like his father. He is the primary mount of the king's eldest son, and has gone out on many battles and forays against rival kingdoms. He's very concerned with things like honor, pride, and duty. While he feels love for his family, he's not likely to show it more than being very prideful, and sometimes overbearingly protective.

Zarin and Abnusi will be offered in an auction on Valentine's day, along with their mother and father, and a very bright cousin.

Also, a LOT of people have asked me what Gaia is, and so I'm just going to put a blurb here, so I don't have to answerthe same question over and over again.

Gaia is a rather stupid website composed of a collection of forums. It is a very popular net haunt of whiny preteens and overgrown children. It is often a big waste of time, and if you are a busy person and have worthwhile hobbies, I suggest you stay away XD However, there are a few real gems, some awesome people that I've met there and that I remain friends with, as well as some unique, and inspired 'pet' ideas. They are oases in the emptiness. I had a lot of fun RPing with those people when I had more time to do so. If you like to RP in your spare time, you can find some good places there. However, be warned, there are a LOT of idiots on Gaia.

Also, this will be scrapped eventually, as it has no background. But I spent a lot of time on the characters, so I'm letting it live in my main gallery for the time being.
