I decided to have a go at acyrlic on bristol. The result was good, but it just took a LONG time. And... I hate acyrlic. Or rather, it annoys me that it dries so fast. I know there's some stuff that I can mix in to make the drying time slower, but I'm just too lazy to hunt it down. And anyway, I don't know how I feel about so much paint on such a thin surface. It didn't ruin the paper in anyway, but I dunno.... I think I'd rather some kind of canvas or something.
The format reminds me of printmaking, which I do believe I am starting to miss. The dirt and the grit and all the alchemical style processes.... it was so much fun, but sometimes, so GRUELING!!!! But it was so freakin' nice to have that near-perfect edition in your hands.... *sigh* Yes.... that double-edged sword, the fickle siren that is printmaking.
Right, so, it's mr. Craig's birthday. I had no idea what to get him. He's been lusting after this picture for many days, so I decided that, instead of trying to sell it, I'd just give it to him for his birthday :3 I'll likely make prints, though. I may shear off the border and just print the image. We'll see.

Classic banjo sound you hear always, specially in the simpsons.
Cool pic. Steve Irwin (who else) came to my mind. I like it
