Artist's Comments

I thought I might upload some of the stuff I've been doodling in my spare time, between all the practice drawing I've been doing lately.

This is my friend's RP character, Freed, as a werewolf.

Man, you are so talented. I love wolves [alternate, werewolves]! I just can't draw them.

How long did it take you to get so good at drawing them [consistently]. I get the feeling that you have a lot of confidence in making line art, because I don't see anything really stray. How do you do it?! Do you do any form of outlining or base sketching? Or are you able to magically create something this cool.

I honestly don't get why this is in your scraps, but that's just me.

I always lay down a very light gestural drawing before I really get into the detail lines, to make sure the form looks sensical before I really commit. You can probably see some of my little, hairy construction lines under there. X3

*stares at it once more* Only a little... Now, if that were my drawing I would consider it a total master piece, but that's probably because I am one with little talent and anything like that blows my mind. *laughs at self*

Fantastic job here! Like ryosagale, I really do admire your drawings and your overall artistic technique. Most of your artwork is portrayed as characters, but of a very unique grouping so that they never get dull when you look at them. Keep up the incredible work! I'll be watching... *oooh*

By the way, do you use just a regular No.2 Pencil when you finally draw in the actual lines? Thanks.
