Recentish badges. The top was done in acrylic ink, and the bottom three are oil.

You work so well with your materials that you fool your contemporaries as well. It's another testament to your skills. I don't know a thing about the paint versus ink - this is the first I've heard of acrylic ink actually - but as always I'm struck by the facial expressions. I don't know that anyone could find fault with someone elses commissions, but I'm curious about the green shaded chest on the bottom character. My fiance asked why she's wearing grass. :p I guess we may never know.

Snow leopards! I love big cats. The second character kind of looks drugged. Her eyes sort appear to be looking off in different directions. The third character I adore. He looks so similar to the style of the main character from the Disney movie Dinosaurs. Iguanadons, that's what they were called. The last character I'm having trouble figuring out the placement of the body. Is it a humanish figure standing upright or a four-legged figure with the body moving towards the right of the picture.

Very pretty, the first one has nice fur texture, and they all have a nice little smile.

I especially like the top one, the snow lepord, for some reason.

Great work, I really like the colouring and expressions. =) I think my favourite would have to be the second from the top.

Ugg, how do you get oil to look like water color?

lots and lots of solvent. It spreads the pigment out to make transparencies, just like watercolor.
