OK, I admit that this is pretty much terrifying so I apologize in advance. I had been gripped with the desire to paint an anthro koifish, just to see what it looks like, and the result is something alienesque, androgynous, very pink, very scary.

I don't know; sometimes I try to do something unlike my usual work and it always ends up more bizarre than anything.

I waffled on uploading the thing but decided that someone out there would want to see it.

The painting is tiny. Maybe six by four. Maybe less. It took around two hours.

I love the concept of this -- because I DO find it creepy, but I like creepy things. It's also very unique, and I dig the color scheme.

I'd love to see it as a more "finished" piece, but I do understand that it was a quickie painting.
