oookaayyy this is the last upload I'm doing for a bit. I have commissions to do and need to get right back to those quick quick!

A few people have asked about progress pics. So I drew a small, simple thing to show the steps I usually take with a drawing. I admit this is a little stiff, and isn't a very good stand-alone drawing, but it will serve its purpose to show the different layers.

I haven't drawn my alchemical lion in a while. He's based off of the weird old medieval drawings of lions which were far from anatomically accurate. I elongated the neck, back, legs, gave him feathers, and so on.

The drawing could keep on going. That is to say, I could keep on layering pen, but I need to get my butt to bed and tomorrow is all about commissions. This ought to do :3

I really adore this. I drew something simmilar based off it, and from there it's starting to evolve into a fantastic series of lion-like characters. So thank you very much for inspiring me, and sharing such a great picture. (:
