I don't usually display pics of fanchars I've created for the reason that I usually find myself annoyed with other people's. But I've made an exception because I have plans to do a few fan comics and I really don't like any of the female characters in the show and so I created my own.
Anyhow, her name is Aruna Erasmus and I suppose it's obvious that she's turn out being a mutant so I don't feel bad in giving that away. She lives alone in a historic old house in Bayville; her parents are anthropologists who are currently in the south pacific documenting the culture of an endangered island people. Her educated, tollerant upbringing has made her abnormally insightful for her age and so she doesn't care much for high school, finding it dull and drudgerous. She's nice to people but doesn't make lasting friendships because she finds her peers to be for the most part unthinking lemmings.
Despite her contempt for the shortcomings of mankind, Aruna is patient and helpful with those who chance to interact with her except for one person--Pietro Maximoff. As soon as he swaggered into school and started stealing her hats, putting mayonnaise in her locker, and just generally being a pest she's decided that he must be the physical representation of all that is evil in the world. He's the only person who's ever been able to make her infuriated and takes advantage every chance he gets. Why would he choose her to pick on? Who can ever say what goes through his head... but it's one of his favorite pastimes.
