Some new paper textures to share. I'm afraid that some of them I abused more than I meant to and they developed some parallel lines, for good or for ill.

You can use these for personal work, commissions, prints, etc. Anything you like.

They're all watercolor. The top and bottom two are made with table salt. the three in the middle are made by dripping watercolor through soap bubbles. A friendly furry chap told me about this technique at FWA and I thought I'd give it a try. Veeeeeeeery interesting!

Edit: A few people have asked about the bubbles, so I'm gonna copy/paste one of my replies here for all to read:

you get some dish detergent in a big bowl or basin and let water run into it so that you get very thick, dry bubbles. Like bubble bath. Then you scoop the bubbles up, lay them down on your paper, and drip the watercolor into them. Then you just let it all dry.
