I figured it was about time I stopped dickin' around and got on with some practice. So I'm working on my life drawing, or painting, really. This is a composit of two pictures I've taken here and there. I only used them as rough visual reference. I didn't copy them directly over, and it was all freehand, and some of it's changed completely. Like, the moon wasn't in any of the photos; I just kind of made that bit up. And the ocean was a completely different color. I've never painted the ocean before, but that turned out fairly well, all considering. It's not super detailed, but it was just practice anyway. And surprisingly, it only took me about an hour and a half. Just goes to show how much a little reference can do for you, I suppose. Painted in photoshop 7, for those who are curious.
