I've heard from a lot of artists that the community on DA has really been going downhill, and I've definitely felt it, myself. I'd like to know what all of you folks think about that, what you believe the problems are, whether something could be done about it, and in what way.

Hello everyone who has remained on DeviantART. I didn't really MEAN to leave. That is, it wasn't a conscious decision to stop posting. I'm soooo bad at posting up journals these days. Kinda disappeared off the face of the planet. So here's an update.
Site work has slowed down a good deal, for which I am grateful. I always have a low-energy period in spurts throughout fall and then during most of winter followed by a wild burst of output when it finally warms up in spring. I'm PRETTY sure I'm solar-powered.
The bad news is that my income has more or less ground to a halt. Which like, rice and beans for the hibbary this winter; but the GOOD news is that I can finally focus on pa

I almost feel like my watcher list is a ghost list...I sometimes try to have an open conversational type of journal, to see if it was just the manner or content, yet getting a response is still so hard. Sometimes I would overthink it and wonder what I have been doing so badly to lose them o_o....but it's probably not me after all.
